Jon Wortmann, Minister

A graduate of Carleton College and Harvard Divinity School, Jon began his service at Pilgrim in 2001.  He is a director of the Worcester Area Mission Society, has completed 19 short-term mission trips to cities like New York and disaster areas like New Orleans, and is the author of two books and an ebook on leadership and organizational communication.  His favorite spiritual practice is centering prayer, and he loves to golf and run.  You can email him at jwortmann@pilgrimchurch.us.

Julie Cedrone, Minister of Pastoral Care & Christian Education 

A Southborough native, Julie is a graduate of Mount Holyoke College and Harvard Divinity School.  She served as a hospice chaplain in San Francisco before returning to Pilgrim Church.  Her passions are divinity and the arts and the spirituality of children.  She plays the flute, loves to write, and lives nearby with her husband, three children, two cats, and five chickens.  You can email her at jcedrone@pilgrimchurch.us.

Grace Choi, Minister of Music

Grace is a graduate of Brandeis University, Peabody Conservatory,and Seoul National University. She has received numerous awards, fellowships, and scholarships internationally.  She has been a church musician since she was a child.  Grace was a Music Director in Weston, Lexington, and Andover prior to joining Pilgrim Church in 2008.  She believes that music is a magical inspiration for our spirituality.  Music can help us communicate with God, connect among us, heal us, and change us.  She also loves paintings, nature, animals, and coffee.  You can email her at graceatpilgrim@gmail.com.

Debbie Herrick, Minister of Communication

Debbie is a graduate of Framingham State College and, although she has been working at Pilgrim Church since 1998, she has been a member of the church community for most of her life.  She is the leader of a women’s fellowship group which discusses subjects related to women’s spirituality.  Her favorite spiritual practice is centering meditation and she enjoys reading, walking and organizing.  You can email her at dherrick@pilgrimchurch.us.

Sarah Hile, Director of Sr. High Youth Programs

A graduate of Indiana University and Northeastern University, Sarah began service at Pilgrim Church in 2005.  She is a licensed Mental Health Therapist, and has completed 6 short-term mission trips to cities like New York and Washington, D.C., as well as disaster areas New Orleans and Jacksonville, Florida.  She is the author of blogs on topics relating to teens and adults.  Her favorite spiritual practice is loving kindness meditation, and she loves to figure skate.  You can email her at sarahjhile@yahoo.com.
