There is no greater test of faith than going 120 mph straight up and then straight down on a roller coaster. You can literally see God coming through the clouds on the way up and imagine something far worse as you head straight for the ground. Most of our teens took the test; ministers–we like snow cones.
Cedar point was perfect. The blessing of the seniors last night was perfect. The talent show was shockingly good, as usual.
What’s the take away this year: we all want to do it again. We’re already talking about New York 2012 and where we can go in 2013. The seniors want to go to New Orleans in May and come back as advisors in training next summer. We can’t wait to tell you about the trip on Mission Trip Sunday this fall.
When we honk our horns and arrive back at Pilgrim around 5 Saturday, we will have lived together for 8 days. The biggest sign this is a graceful experience and a testimony to faith lived: we don’t want it to end.
