“Therefore confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective.” – James 5:16 (NRSV)
Prayer is a cornerstone habit for Christians. We pray when things are going awry. We pray (hopefully) to thank God when we’re celebrating. But more than almost anything else, we love to pray for each other.
After a recent request to do so, we’ll be including the Prayer List in this Spire Newsletter starting next week. We’re looking for your feedback. We will only include the names of the persons we’re praying for, and we won’t publish any health information or personal details. My assumption (Charley writing here) is that this is a nice way to stay informed and in touch. If this works for you, please let us know. If it’s not working for you, let us know that. We’re always looking for new ways to keep Pilgrims connected!
Thanks, as always, for praying for one another. It’s a part of how we’re Growing Faith. Strengthening Families. Loving All.
