Volunteering on Sundays is a meaningful way to live out one’s faith, build community, and make a difference in the lives of others. By offering warm welcomes, creating beautiful environments or assisting with practical tasks, volunteers can make a lasting impression on those who attend worship. This experience can create a sense of belonging and connection for newcomers and inspire others to get involved.
There are many opportunities to get involved, from greeting members and visitors before worship, reading scripture, providing sanctuary flowers, hosting coffee and/or providing food as well as participating in our music program as a member of the chancel choir or bell choir or one of our small music groups. No matter the role, everyone has the ability to contribute and make worship a meaningful and fulfilling experience for all.
If you would like to volunteer to read scripture, greet, usher, provide flowers, host coffee hour or provide food, click on this link https://pilgrimchurch.us/come-see-us/pilgrim-church-sign-up/ and sign up today. If you’d like to participate in our music program, contact Monica Daly, Director of Music and for the bell choir, contact Carla Mason, Bell Choir Director. If there are other ways you’d like to participate that aren’t listed, please contact Charley Eastman, Sr. Minister or Debbie Rowe, Minister of Communication.
