The Stewardship committee wants to thank everyone who has sent in their pledges so far. We are making good progress toward our budgeting goals, but we still have a long way to go.

As most of you probably know, we will need to cover a shortfall of 25 lost pledges in the coming years to meet our budgetary needs. Until then, we will be relying on cash reserves in addition to your support in order to pay staff, building maintenance and utilities. These reserves will be depleted within 5 years. If every member of the Pilgrim community contributes to the support of our church each year, we will be closer to closing this shortfall in funds.

As Heather pointed out last Sunday, it doesn’t matter whether you walk through the doors of the church each week for that is not the total of what Pilgrim is about. It is the outreach of community that is there for everyone wherever you may be. 

We look forward to celebrating with you this Sunday, Consecration Sunday, with our annual Stewardship Brunch held in Fellowship Hall following the service. Please join us there!
