I can only assume that, much like mine, everyone’s inbox has been exploding over the past week with solicitations for a “special day of giving”. Colleges, hospitals, TV stations, museums, clubs and charities of every kind imaginable calling for our attention and support. They talk of their community outreach, their contributions to the cities and towns where they exist, or the broad reach of their programs. All very worthy but so distant and disconnected from our daily lives in many ways.

At Pilgrim, we have our very own institution which sponsors community outreach, supports clubs and activities within Southborough, feeds people in need and serves anyone who asks for help with open arms. We are a loving, giving, family focused faith community that needs support from its members.

Again,  many thanks to those who have already sent their pledge to us.  If you have not yet done so,  please consider making your pledge for 2024 soon so the Financial Resources committee and Stewardship can start to plan for the coming year. We are 24 pledges short  and $55,000.00 behind last year’s final pledge total. We can do this with your help!
