The season of Lent is here, and your Outreach Committee is asking for your generous donations of items for filling Easter bags to be given to the homeless families living at Pathways Shelter in Framingham. We are collecting FULL-SIZED, NEW, and UNOPENED items for the mothers, fathers, and children at the shelter from now until Sunday, March 17th.

Below is a link to a sign-up sheet with a list of specific wants and needs of the shelter’s residents. The sign-up sheet is a Google Sheet, so it is “LIVE” and will allow us to easily manage the sign-up process. After you sign up for the items you would like to donate, please include your name and quantity in the requested field.

If you have any difficulty with using the sign-up sheet, Outreach also welcomes general donations such as diapers, wipes, baby toys, baby blankets, sippy cups, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, antiperspirant, razors, shaving gel, toothbrushes, toothpaste, toothbrush holders, coloring books, crayons, activity books, stickers, and small snacks such as cookies, crackers or chocolate. The shelter currently has a lot of babies and young kids ranging in age from newborn – 9 years.

Two Ways to Drop off Donations by Sunday, March 17th:

·  Drop off donations at the church in the bin marked “Outreach Easter Bag Donations” located by the side entrance to the church.

·  Drop off donations at Carol Cullen’s house at 7 Heather Lane, Southborough. Please call/text (508-887-1989) to arrange a time for delivery. 

If you would prefer to order items online, please have them delivered to Carol Cullen at 7 Heather Lane, Southborough, MA 01772.

Monetary donations are also welcome. Please make your check payable to Pilgrim Congregational Church and note Easter Bag Program on the memo line. Mail your check to Pilgrim at P.O. Box 281, Southborough, MA 01772. Monetary donations should be received by Wednesday, March 13th.
