For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me

Thank you to everyone who made our Rally Sunday kickoff such a great beginning to the program year. There was a great spirit in the sanctuary, fellowship and outside on the lawn! Apparently a petting zoo is our new favorite church activity, and grilling burgers in the kitchen is a close second. 

There was food, there was fun, and there was great fellowship. We met new faces and said hello to old friends back from the summer. We couldn’t have asked for more. 

So here we are, asking for more! 

We hope you’ll find a way to support our project with Heifer International to build an Ark. We have a new space on our Giving page on our website devoted to this important project. Pilgrim Church is committed to feeding others, and Heifer is one of the best ways to do that. 

We also want to keep folks engaged so they can learn more about our church, tell their friends, and bring even more new faces into our Pilgrim Family. In that spirit, stay tuned for stories during worship about how folks have been “finding their WHY” at Pilgrim Church. 

It’s going to be a great year; thanks to everyone for an excellent beginning.
