Now there was a woman who had been suffering from haemorrhages for twelve years. She had endured much under many physicians, and had spent all that she had; and she was no better, but rather grew worse.

-Mark 5:25-26

Thanks to everyone who attended our Week One sessions!

Thanks to all of you, these studies were full of insights, interesting questions, and great intergenerational sharing. I felt privileged to be a part of it.

Our series will continue for the next five weeks, as we explore different times when Jesus noticed women in his ministry. this coming week, on Sunday, March 16 at 8:45 at 11:30, we will consider Mark 5:24-34. We will explore how one woman’ fought through the crowds for access to Jesus. Her self-advocacy not only brought her healing, but also created a new dimension in Jesus’ self-understanding.

In the interest of time, will try to start promptly at both 8:45 and 11:30.

As before, please remember there is nothing to prepare, no need to read ahead, and you don’t have to attend all six sessions to have some real spiritual growth!

See you this Sunday in the church parlor as we explore themes of healing, shame, and honor, and continue our Lenten journey together.
