This week we celebrate the Advent Sunday of Peace!

Pilgrim Church is hoping you’re taking some time to reflect on the themes of the Christmas season, whether you’ve got a church connection or not. Feel welcome at our free Animated Advent Series, Friday nights from December 1^st through December 22^nd.

Our second film is Coco, and we chose it for our Second Week of Advent for what is says about peace.

Peace is not about giving up

Part of finding peace in our lives is about accepting things about our families, ourselves, and our world. But that doesn’t mean that peace is only for those who just let things be…sometimes, to find your true calling, you have to shake things up. Coco has some great lessons about valuing family while being true to yourself.

We’ll watch the movie together and then have a short discussion about the themes and ideas we saw. Rev. Charley will also have a discussion sheet for folks to take with them to continue the talk within their families.

Join us in the Pilgrim Church Fellowship Hall Friday at 7 pm.
