This Lent Pastor Charley will be leading a Bible Study about some of the women who inspired or interacted with Jesus. As is typical with people in the Bible, their stories are always shrouded in mystery. But they speak to us in their actions and sometimes their words. And we can learn from them and consider our faith through the lens of their stories.

There will be six sessions each week, and you can come to all of them or drop in for any number you like. Charley will be leading this study on Sunday mornings during our usual 8:45 Bible Conversations from now through Palm Sunday.

8:45 too early? Or are you busy then? Come along at 11:30 instead!

He’s also taking a trial run at doing the same study after worship, from 11:30-12:15 in the parlor. You don’t need to bring a thing, unless you have a favorite Bible you’d like to use. Just come with an open mind and an open heart, the way Jesus approached each of the women we will discuss in our studies.

Lent is a great time to engage your faith in new ways! If Bible study hasn’t been your thing in the past, maybe this six-week window is the right amount of time to try.
