This Summer, Rev. Charley Eastman and Rev. Paul Sanderson will share the pulpits at Pilgrim Church and First Community Church of Southborough.

Pilgrim Worship will be at 9:30 am, and First Community Services will be at 11:00. Join us for either or both! Just like last year, Paul and I will take turns preaching both services. Paul will continue his series from last year about lesser known figures from the Bible, while my series will be the Psummer of Psalms! Here is the breakdown: Charley will preach June 22nd, July 20th, and August 17, 24 and 31. Paul will do June 29th, July 6th and 27th, and August 3rd and 10th.

Did you notice a missing day? On July 13th, Rev. Julie Cedrone will be preaching, and Charley will swap with her to preach at First Congregational Church in Auburn. Now just because I’m not preaching doesn’t mean I’m not around. I have a few short getaways that I’ll share with congregants, but I’m here most weeks of the summer. It’s a great time to get connected, so if you’d like a visit, please let me know!

You’ll also notice something new and special for kids and families…

This summer we’ll have a Kid’s Craft each week, and everyone who does the craft will get to come up at the offering time and showcase what they’ve made as their Sunday Offering near the end of the service. We won’t have formal Kid’s church, but the Prayground is always open!

Finally, if you’re traveling and you go to church while you’re away, please bring back bulletins! We love to see what other churches are up to, and it’s a great way to find new ideas about how we do things at Pilgrim.

See you this summer, Sundays at 9:30 at Pilgrim Church!

If you go to Iceland and visit a church, let us know what happened and how it was. We’re always learning! Photo credit: jayworks at unsplash.
