Join with local congregations and members of Southborough Neighbors for Peace as we celebrate Thanksgiving on Monday, November 24th at 7pm
This interfaith service will be a festive gathering with music, sacred scriptures and prayers for peace for ourselves and for our world. Join with neighbors and friends from Southborough and beyond. You’ll hear new music, new voices, and share in a light reception in Fellowship Hall afterward.
What’s the one thing that everyone has in common? We’re all different! Even those of us who look a good bit alike still have our own traditions and concerns. This year we gather again to celebrate our differences and to revel in our common wish for peace and the right to worship in our ways. We will share our traditions, our songs, and our hearts.
Participants and friends will represent Congregation B’nai Shalom, St. Mark’s Church, St. Anne’s Parish, St. Matthew’s Parish, Pilgrim Church, and many others.
If you’re able to come, feel free to bring a dish to share for the reception afterward. Maybe it represents your culture or your traditions…or maybe it’s just something you like. Regardless, come and share, and help us welcome neighbors of many faiths and traditions.
There will be a freewill offering taken at this service to support the Southborough Food Pantry. Hunger doesn’t care about what we look or sound like, and food insecurity can strike in unexpected places. Let’s gather and share from our abundance with others.

Thank you Charley, for this most beautifully written description of what I have experienced as one of the most meaningful services we have. Like the gospel concert, it’s hard to know how wonderful it is it if you haven’t experienced it first-hand. I hope many will have the joy of attending.
Peace
