Each year Charley buys Advent Calendars for members of his family: some get Lego Calendars, some are from Ulta or Trader Joes…but he didn’t find one that he liked for himself. So he decided to make a video Advent Calendar of poems, insights and scriptures to share with others on Instagram. If you like the posts, feel free to share them with others. He’d be grateful!

All the complicated details
of the attiring and
the disattiring are completed!
A liquid moon
moves gently among
the long branches.
Thus having prepared their buds
against a sure winter
the wise trees
stand sleeping in the cold.
