For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.
Matthew 18:20

We have a few “last hurrahs” before things quiet down around here.
We hope you’ll join us every weekend, of course, but our Family Weekend from June 13-14 has got a lot of fun on tap. Saturday, June 13th is our Annual Pilgrim Chicken Barbecue. This beloved event brings folks from several nearby towns to enjoy good food, great fellowship, and lots of fun. We’ll have raffle baskets again, lawn games, and a bouncy house.
Come hungry, and definitely bring a friend! Some folks have found out about Pilgrim Church through our barbecue, and it’s a great way to meet us. Do you like chicken barbecue? What about hot dogs, or Mac and cheese? Add in a slew of sides and some of the best pies in the land, and you’re in for a real treat.
We hope to see you at the Barbecue, Saturday, June 13th from 5-7:30pm here at Pilgrim Church.
The next day is a little different, but the bouncy house remains: it’s Children’s Sunday! Join us for worship at 10 am. We have special music, kid’s activities, and a big celebration for both the young and the young at heart. Children’s Sunday is one the best expressions of our church vision: Growing Faith. Strengthening Families. Loving All.
It’s also another great time to bring a friend to church, especially if they’re young or young at heart. All are welcome, and it’s a treasured part of the church calendar. As always, special thanks to CE Superintendent Amy Sibley for helping us put our best food forward with kids and families.
That’s Children’s Sunday at Pilgrim Church, staring at 10 am on Sunday, June 14th!
