What’s our play?

There’s an old saying that “the family that plays together, stays together.” Play is an important part of socialization, and it makes our hearts lighter! While you can join a team or a league and go outside to play, there are other ways to knit ourselves together.

In the days ahead, keep your eyes peeled for a survey regarding our Church Game Night!

We’ve had a game night at Pilgrim Church for quite some time, but lately, attendance has been pretty light. Do you want us to continue with this program? We’re sending out a survey to every member of the church, and we’d love to hear from you about this fun fellowship opportunity.

We’ve been meeting once a month, usually the first Sunday Night of the month, at 6:00 pm. Does this time work for you, or would you prefer something else? We usually bring something to eat at 6 and we’re playing games by 6:30. Most nights we wrap up around 8 or 8:30.

A small core group has been enjoying this time together, but we could probably be more effective if we choose times when more folks could join us. Is there something else we could do? Food? Drink? Snacks or a meal? Or is everyone just gamed out?

The survey we’re sending out will give you some options about days and times and how you’d like such a group to work.

Please share your opinions, and remember; we’d love to make this group open to the public. So if you know folks who love to play games, please share whatever we end up choosing with others.
