Slavery is wrong! We embrace the freedom of all, and seek a more just future for our BIPOC neighbors.
But I made a mistake. I left the church, rather than trying to be a force for good and change.
This week Jonathan and Charley start to look at Thirst, a collection of poems by Mary Oliver.

We cannot hide our heads in the sand while the horrors of mans inhumanity to mankind burns around us. But we also need to keep our calm, core center in order to be able to respond when we’re needed.
