Pilgrim Congregational Church of Southborough now has a hand-painted mural in the Toddler Room. The mural depicts “Noah’s Ark” with all its animal pairs disembarking the ark to make their new homes. The entire scene is very interactive, with the baby elephant laughing at the butterfly that has landed on its trunk, while mom and dad elephant look on or the duck family being amused by a little deer. Noah is on the sand near the ark and across the mural you can see the peace doves (one with an olive branch to symbolize Peace). See also the Rainbow ?of God’s Promise . The words in the Rainbow read: One God, one sun, one peace…or everyone. The mural is thanks to the amazing talent of Jane Harrington and her daughter, Annie.
