Each year the Southborough Rotary Club recognizes people in Southborough who have served the town in outstanding ways. At the annual Celebrating Service, Celebrating Southborough event in December, one of the two honorees was Pilgrim Church’s own Herb Kolk. We all know of the many ways that Herb serves Pilgrim Church, whether it is helping with the Live Stream Facebook feed on Sundays, having been a Deacon, or serving as Church Secretary. Herb’s service extends beyond Pilgrim Church. In 1993 he founded the Southborough Basketball League which he has kept running two nights a week for basketball lovers of all ages. Herb also works at the Southborough Food Pantry where he volunteers hundreds of hours each year.  Congratulations Herb on a well-deserved honor.
