Pilgrim Church, meet your new pal, the Prayer Board!

Is this the first Post-it note prayer board in the world? Nope. Charley stole the idea when he was on a tour of Sacred Heart University and he saw it hanging in their chapel, covered with notes. But he did recognize what a great tool this would be for Pilgrim.

Like the sign says, you take a Post-it, you write a prayer on it with the pen (provided) and then post it right on the board. Then the Deacons will collect them on Sunday morning and include them in the prayers of the people. But here’s the innovation: no gatekeeping!

There is nowhere that anyone asks if you’re a pledging member of Pilgrim Church! Charley’s hope is that scouts and their parents will use this board, as well as Food Pantry volunteers and clients. It’s for audience members coming to see the Messiah, or technicians working on the cell tower. It’s for someone attending a special service, or entering our church for the first time.

Basically, The Pilgrim Church Prayer Board is for ANYONE who enters Pilgrim Church.
