This week in worship, the sermon time will begin with a message from Charley and then shift into small group discussions.
A gift to Heifer International is a gift to people around the world in need of food…and the means to make and buy even more.
As Julie said, “Give generously knowing that we’re supporting not just us at Pilgrim but our wider community as well.”
It’s going to be a great year; thanks to everyone for an excellent beginning.
This year we’re kicking off an ambitious fundraiser with Heifer International, to fill an ark. It takes at least $5000 in donations, and the money will be used to fund feeding efforts around the world.
Whatever your why, we’re looking forward to exploring and learning together this year at Pilgrim Church. From September through May this year, you’ll hear from Pastor Charley and your fellow Pilgrims as we share our whys and invite you to consider yours.
Every so often we need to step back and take stock!
If we forget to ask that vital question, “should we,” we could be perpetuating mistakes or making things harder for ourselves. Through it all, let’s be guided by the Holy Spirit, by God’s spirit of love and care for one another.
